(WARNING: this doesn't work if you’re focus is on cookies or pepsi!)
I personally think it makes total sense. The "eat more, to loose more" theory. However, there ought to be a clear disclaimer here; you can’t just eat whatever you want! Junk food is not included. This is what health, diet and fitness proponents of the theory tend to claim (these are the "rules" so to speak) ...
1. Always eat something for breakfast, this wakes up your metabolism (all night you've been fasting, so in other words, the body needs fuel and water to get going). Choose your breakfast wisely, you are setting the stage for your day here! And even something small is better than nothing:)
2. Eat small meals every 3 (or so) hours throughout your day, this will help keep your blood sugar levels stable (preventing over-eating later), and your metabolism revved! Also, your body will not hold onto fat as fiercely if it knows it is going to be fed regularly, don’t underestimate your bodies intelligence.
3. Eat more earlier in the day and less at night (at night you don't need much energy! You're soon off to bed! Have a sustaining lunch and choose a light dinner, and if you're going to snack, keep these light and healthy too:)
4. Eating regularly keeps protein levels high = more muscle
5. I am also adding the "drink more, shrink more" rule here, because water is a critical component to any weight loss plan. When you’re hydrated, every system in your body works more efficiently. You do the math:)
This is all really simple. Eat healthily, eat smaller portions and eat them more often, and, drink lot’s of water (add lemon for a cleansing and alkalizing kick).
Weight loss doesn't come in a bottle anymore than happiness does.
